William Rutter

William Rutter is a versatile product strategist and venture creator with a robust background at the intersection of product, venture, and science. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Physics from MIT and have furthered their education with an MA in Design from Carnegie Mellon and an MBA from Illinois Tech. Over the years, William has contributed to early-stage ventures in deep tech and healthcare, excelling in product strategy, UX research, and operational leadership, including driving FDA submissions for connected diabetes platforms. Currently, they serve as a Product & Venture Strategist at Synergenics and Co-founder/COO at ILYTICA, applying their unique skill set to foster innovative solutions in molecular diagnostics and life sciences. As a founding contributor at the Positive Sum Design Institute, they actively engage in research and collaboration aimed at unlocking value through design-driven systems change.
