Daniel West

Daniel West currently serves as Head of Human Resources Operations at GOLD FIELDS, leading people and engagement operations across five Australian sites with a focus on business partnering, employee relations, and operational training. Previously, Daniel held managerial roles at the City of Bayswater, where responsibilities included driving sustainability and environment strategies, as well as overseeing HR, organizational development, and safety initiatives. Daniel has extensive experience in HR management through various positions at BHP Billiton and South32, focusing on talent acquisition, HR system optimization, and organizational readiness. With a strong educational background including a Master's in Sustainability and Climate Policy from Curtin University and a Bachelor's in Industrial Relations and Psychology from The University of Western Australia, Daniel is also dedicated to community support, having served as Chair and Board Member of Pindan College.
