Luke Carter is an experienced electrical professional with a comprehensive background in plant maintenance, supervision, and electrical infrastructure. Currently serving as an Electrical Leading Hand at GOLD FIELDS since October 2023, Luke has previously held positions as an Electrical Supervisor at Aeris Resources Limited and Round Oak Minerals Pty Limited, overseeing both underground and surface operations, as well as maintenance responsibilities. Earlier experience includes roles as an Electrician at Northern Star Resources Limited and Westgold Resources, along with extensive work at Metals X Limited and Cartelec Ptd Ltd. Luke holds a degree in Electrical Trade from Curtain University of Technology and has a strong foundation in electrical and electronics engineering, complemented by various technical roles in previous positions.
