Malcolm Thomas is an experienced geologist with a strong background in mining and resource management. Starting as a mine geologist at Rand Mines from 1987 to 1989, Malcolm progressed to various senior roles at leading companies, including Barrick Gold Corporation as Geology Superintendent from June 2005 to June 2009 and currently serving as Group Geologist at GOLD FIELDS since February 2017. Previous positions include Geology Superintendent at Lawlers Gold Mine and Mineral Resource Manager at Gold Fields Australia.
