Bruce Downing

Bruce Downing is a principal at WSP Golder Associates and a geotechnical engineer with expertise in project management, engineering design, and construction services for various infrastructure projects both in Canada and internationally. They have extensive experience in hydroelectric and tunneling projects, managing large-scale geotechnical investigations, and preparing geotechnical reports and designs. Bruce previously held positions as a senior geotechnical engineer at Amec Earth and Environmental and worked at Golder Associates since 2000, progressing from senior engineer to principal. Bruce earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering and an Honours degree in Geology from The University of British Columbia, as well as a Master of Science in Soil and Rock Mechanics from Imperial College London.
