Dr. Dejiang Long is a fellow water resources engineer and senior consultant at WSP Golder, with over 38 years of experience in water resources engineering consulting, research, and teaching. They have held various leadership roles, including project manager and director, and participated in numerous projects across multiple sectors, including oil and gas, mining, and urban development. Previously, Dr. Long served as an adjunct professor at the University of Calgary and has extensive international consulting experience spanning North America, South America, Asia, Australia, and Africa. They received Awards of Excellence for two notable water management projects in China’s Yangtze and Yellow River watersheds.
