Lee Nikl is a seasoned environmental scientist with extensive experience in environmental impact assessment, regulatory review, and compliance enforcement. Currently serving as a Senior Environmental Scientist and Fellow at WSP in Canada since January 2023, Lee previously held various senior roles at Golder, including Principal in the Mine Environment Division and Principal/Manager in the Planning and Landscape Architecture Division. With earlier positions at Golder Associates in Australia and roles as a Senior Scientist and Managing Director at EVS Environment Consultants, Lee has a strong background in aquatic health and toxicology, supported by an M.Sc. in Fish Health from Simon Fraser University. Educational contributions include a tenure as an instructor in Environmental Toxicology at Capilano University, complemented by a decade of service at Fisheries and Oceans Canada as a Water Quality Biologist.
