Michael Maher

Michael Maher has over 30 years of experience in the engineering industry, primarily working for Golder Associates Ltd. Their work experience includes roles such as Principal and Senior Materials and Forensic Engineer, Global Transportation Sector Leader and Principal, and Principal and Canadian Transportation Sector Leader. Michael has specialized in materials engineering, pavement design, structure condition surveys, and sustainability evaluations. Additionally, they have acted as an expert witness in court actions related to construction materials performance. Maher has worked on various highway projects in Ontario and Qatar and has contributed to the development of important design manuals and guides in their field.

Michael Maher received their Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering and Pavement Design from Trinity College Dublin from 1975 to 1978. Prior to that, from 1970 to 1974, they obtained a First Class Honours BA BAI degree in Civil Engineering, also from Trinity College Dublin.
