Michael Whitfield

Michael Whitfield has extensive experience in environmental management, currently serving as the Group Lead Mine Environment Africa and Divisional Leader for Environmental Assessment and Permitting at Golder since March 2005. Previous roles include Divisional Lead for Social Management Services and Senior Environmental Practitioner, along with Environmental Impact Assessment Practitioner. Michael Whitfield's prior experience includes working as an Environmental Consultant at Golder Australia from January 2009 to December 2010, and as an Environmental Scientist at Golder Associates Africa between March 2005 and December 2008. Michael Whitfield holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Geography from the University of Johannesburg, obtained from 1999 to 2004, and completed education at Michaelhouse from 1994 to 1997.
