Robert May is an accomplished geotechnics professional with extensive experience spanning over four decades. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Tasmania since May 2021, Robert contributes to geotechnical research and undergraduate education. As a Principal Consultant at Golder Associates since December 2014, Robert leads numerous geotechnical projects across Australia and internationally. Previously, Robert held significant roles at Atkins Ltd, Jacobs Engineering, Capita Symonds, Mott MacDonald, and Fugro, where Robert specialized in offshore and seismic geotechnics, foundation design, and transport geotechnics. Robert earned a DPhil in Geotechnical research from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Civil Engineering from King's College London.
