Steve Rogers

Steve Rogers is a highly experienced geoscientist with a strong background in geomechanics and geology. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Geoscientist at WSP in Canada since May 2021, Steve has a lengthy tenure at Golder Associates Ltd, where roles have included Senior Geoscientist/Geomechanic and Associate, starting from November 2000. Previous experience includes positions as a Senior Geoscientist at the British Geological Survey and as a Senior Geologist for the Government of Vanuatu, where responsibilities encompassed rural water development, hydrocarbon exploration, and geotechnical investigations. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Mining, Rock Mechanics, and Rock Mass Classification from the University of Nottingham, along with a Diploma in GIS and a BA Hons in Geology & Management Science from Keele University.
