Blake West

Blake West has a long and varied work experience. In 2020, they co-founded Goldfinch, where they serve as a co-founder and contributor. Blake also co-founded Warbler Labs in 2020, where they serve as co-founder and CTO. In 2018, they worked as a Senior Backend Engineer at Coinbase. From 2014-2018, they worked at Hint Health as a Software Engineer, where they built robust and reliable payment and financial accounting code that now handles $150M+/ year in transaction volume. In 2013, they worked at Hack Reactor as a Hacker in Residence, where they worked on the curriculum and engineering team. Blake also worked at Versal as a Contract Software Engineer, where they built a custom skinned interactive video player. In 2011, they founded LessonUp, an in-person music lessons business. From 2006-2008, they worked as a Keyboardist and Freelance Keyboardist, playing, writing, recording, and performing music. Blake also worked at the Wharton Small Business Development Center as a Consultant, where they helped Philadelphia area small businesses to grow and improve.

Blake West attended The Wharton School from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a BS in Marketing and Entrepreneurship with a minor in Music. In 2013, they attended Hack Reactor to study Computer Software Engineering.
