Rhys Neild is an experienced engineer with a passion for advancing sustainable energy through technology and innovation. With a career goal of achieving 100% renewable energy in Australia by 2050, Rhys has worked in the renewables industry since 2012, focusing on wind and solar technologies. Currently, Rhys serves as Project Origination Manager at Goldwind, where they oversee land agreements for new projects and manage early-stage development work. Rhys previously held roles at DNV GL, where they specialized in wind turbine power performance measurements, and at Braendler Engineering, where they led a team in developing innovative inspection products for wind turbine blades. Rhys earned a Master of Engineering in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Leeds.
