Tony Saker

Tony Saker is an accomplished professional in the electric supply and utilities sectors with extensive experience in management and strategic operations across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Grid Schedule & BESS Manager at Goldwind since October 2018, Tony specializes in optimizing grid operations and lifecycle management of SCADA systems. Prior roles include General Manager at UCS Group, where Tony initiated contestable electric underground reticulation projects, and Executive Director at JMJ Holdings Pty Ltd, focusing on business development and mergers and acquisitions in the electric supply industry. Earlier experience includes Managing Director at UMS Group Asia Pacific, where Tony was instrumental in establishing the firm’s strategic direction and reputation, and Senior Business Development Manager at Contax Partners, developing the power and water market. Tony's career began at Ausgrid, progressing from Electrical Engineer to Strategic Planner and Adviser to the CEO over an 11-year tenure.
