Peter Imhof

Peter Imhof is the Planning & Environmental Review Director at the City of Goleta, a position they have held since 2017. They previously served as the Deputy Executive Director of Planning at the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments from 2011 to 2017 and held roles as a Senior Planner at the County of Santa Barbara and a Coastal Program Analyst at the California Coastal Commission earlier in their career. Peter also practiced law as an attorney at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP and Hancock Rothert & Bunshoft LLP. They earned a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and a Master's in City and Regional Planning from the same institution, following a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Princeton University.
