James Colgan

James Colgan is the current assistant editor at GOLF.com. Prior to their current position, Colgan interned at NFL Films, CBS News, FOX Sports, and InsomniaTV. James also worked as a sports staff member at WAER. Colgan has a passion for storytelling and has edited sequences, logged footage, conducted research, and pitched elements for NFL Films productions including HBO's "Hard Knocks," ESPN's "Peyton's Places," and NFL Network's "A Football Life." James has also produced segments, written stories, gathered story elements, and assisted booking teams for CBSN and CBS News' long-form investigative story on lead poisoning in New York City Public Housing.

James Colgan's educational career began with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Broadcast Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. James then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Political Science and Government from Syracuse University - Maxwell School.
