James Sibbles

James Sibbles has a diverse work experience in the golf industry. James started their career as a Tournament Professional at PGA Europro Tour Ltd in 2007 and continued in various roles such as Golf Professional at Swinton Estate and Bradford Golf Club. James gained expertise in customer service, custom-fitting, and marketing techniques during these positions.

In 2012, James completed their PGA Professional Golf Qualification at The Grove and also worked as a Golf Sales & Events Manager at the same resort. James developed strong relationships with prestigious commercial partners and successfully planned and sold golf and hotel events.

James then joined Marriott International in 2017 as a Golf Manager, where they managed a cluster of teams and handled all golf revenue at eight UK Marriott Golf & Country Club Hotels. James also served as an Account Director for Marriott's largest Wholesaler accounts and formulated key strategic dynamic pricing.

In 2018, James joined Toptracer as a Sales Operations Manager for Europe. James played a key role in building and managing the sales portfolio across Europe and was responsible for new business development, identifying opportunities, and building relationships with golf facilities.

Most recently, James started working at Golf Genius Software in 2021 as an International Sales Manager. Golf Genius is a leading cloud-based Tournament Management Software, and James contributes to its growth by assisting all sections of the golf industry.

Throughout their career, James has demonstrated excellent communication skills, precise project management, and strong negotiation abilities.

James Sibbles attended St Mary's RC Comprehensive in Menston from 1994 to 2001. It is not specified whether they obtained a degree or field of study from this institution. James then studied at the University of Leeds from 2002 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Management. This program covered various aspects of the environment, including geography, law, and economics. Lastly, from 2011 to 2013, James attended the University of Birmingham, where they pursued a degree in PGA Golf Foundation, specializing in the field of golf.
