Senior Course Designer at Golf Scope

Rick Falck has worked in various roles since 2006. From 2006 to 2007, they were an Assistant at Millbrook Water Co, where they created a Quickbooks database, designed flyers, product logos and sales resources, and scheduled and provided routine product delivery and equipment service to customers. In 2007, they became a Manager at Mac's Auto Wash, where they oversaw daily operations, was responsible for accurate money handling, and maintained daily scheduling for employees and supervised workers. From 2010 to 2013, they were a Senior Tech Artist at aboutGolf, where they directed a CG art team to reproduce world-renown golf venues as well as original fantasy courses for use in industry leading golf simulators around the globe and in media. Rick also conceptualized gameplay environments and produced art assets for aboutGolf Mini-Games. In 2013, they became a Lead CG Artist at Suitcase, where they collaborated with event designers, venue managers, and production teams to accurately recreate authentic wedding and reception venues for use mobile app deployment. Rick also created a full range of game ready assets and provided art direction for contracted modelers. Since 2014, they have been an Adjunct Professor at the College for Creative Studies, where they provide instruction and guidance for Entertainment Art department, primarily Game, Film/ Video, and Animation students. Rick also assists students in the development of their senior thesis projects, hosting critiques and providing demos, while helping soon-to-be graduates navigate their particular path with the planning, production and promotion of their projects and skills. Finally, they will become a Senior Course Designer at GOLF+ in 2022.

Rick Falck attended Clarkston High School from 1999 to 2003. Rick then attended Oakland Community College from 2003 to 2006, studying Art/Art Studies, General. In 2009, they received a Bachelors of Fine Art from the College for Creative Studies, specializing in Entertainment Arts.
