Sonya Modi

Sonya Modi is an experienced public relations professional currently serving as a Director at Golin since May 2022. Prior to this role, Sonya held the position of Associate Director at Havas Formula from October 2013 to May 2022, and gained early experience as a Public Relations Intern at d2 Publicity and Showroom Seven in 2013 and 2012, respectively. Sonya has demonstrated expertise in maximizing client promotion through various public relations tasks, social media analysis, and effective media contact management. In leadership roles at Alpha Phi San Diego State University, including Director of Formal Recruitment and Vice President of Program Development, Sonya successfully oversaw recruitment and event planning while managing substantial budgets. Sonya holds a Professional Designation in Visual Communications from FIDM and a B.A. in Journalism Media Studies with a Marketing minor from San Diego State University.
