Jay Lavinsky

Jay Lavinsky, CPA has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Jay is currently serving as the Senior Director of Technical Accounting at Olo since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Apple Leisure Group from 2017 to 2022, holding positions such as Director of Financial Reporting and Principal of Financial Reporting. Before that, they worked at Grant Thornton LLP as an Audit Manager from 2008 to 2017. Additionally, they worked at XM Satellite Radio as a Recruiting Associate from 2007 to 2008, and at Service Select Inc. as a Project Management Associate from 2004 to 2007.

Jay Lavinsky, CPA completed their secondary education at Pennsbury High School from 1995 to 1999. Jay then pursued higher education at Penn State University from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a degree in History. During their time at Penn State, Jay Lavinsky also pursued minors in Business/Liberal Arts and English.

After a brief gap, they continued their educational journey by attending the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2006 to 2008. Here, they focused on Accounting, although it is not specified whether they obtained a degree in this field.

In terms of professional certification, Jay Lavinsky obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. Jay accomplished this by successfully completing the necessary requirements set by the VBOA (Virginia Board of Accountancy) in June 2014.
