Richard Gilmore

Richard Gilmore is a seasoned Director of Data Engineering and ML, specializing in modern data pipelines with expertise in Spark and Kafka. Currently serving as a Staff Data Engineer at Olo, they previously held leadership roles at Slice and BT, where they managed and developed data solutions supporting large-scale operations. Richard earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Electronics with First Class Honors from Queen's University Belfast, where they also conducted postgraduate research in data science. Throughout their career, they have driven the adoption of innovative technologies and optimized production data architectures, significantly enhancing team performance and productivity.
