David Allen

David Allen began their work experience as a Network Engineer at GWI in 1997. David then worked their way up within the company, serving as NSE Manager and Vice President of Technology, responsible for various technical and logistical roles and overseeing infrastructure and related teams. During their time at GWI, they planned, designed, and built a state-wide network and developed business voice products. In 2017, Allen joined OTELCO as the Senior Director of Telecom Operations and later became the Vice President of Network Operations. In March 2022, they took on the role of General Manager/Senior Vice President of Network Operations at GoNetspeed.

David Allen attended Sanford High School from 1990 to 1994. David then went on to study Computer Science at SMTC from 1995 to 1997, where they earned an Associate's degree. Later, from 2004 to 2009, David pursued a degree in Business Administration, specializing in the field of study at the University of Maine, graduating with an ASBA.
