Diego Bernardes

Diego Bernardes has a diverse work experience spanning over 12 years. Diego is currently working as a Principal Engineer at Nitro, Inc. since February 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Developer Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from July 2019 to January 2020. Diego also served as a Senior Developer at Worten Portugal from July 2018 to June 2019. Diego held the role of Technical Team Lead at B2W Digital, the biggest e-commerce company in Latin America, from August 2015 to June 2018, where they led the search and discovery team. Before that, Diego worked as a Senior System Analyst at TIVIT from February 2013 to August 2015, primarily focusing on developing a new platform to replace a legacy system. Diego is also the founder of DicaX, a social commerce platform that helps customers find establishments, where they played a role in all stages of the project from its conception to fundraising. Diego started their career as an IT Consultant at Halliburton from April 2010 to April 2011, working on the development of software applications for Petrobras. Lastly, they worked as a Junior System Analyst at Synapsis SPA from February 2008 to April 2010, where they were part of the telemetry team and created a platform for real-time operations in the energy supply industry.

Diego Bernardes earned a Licentiate degree in Computer Science from Unilasalle-RJ between 2005 and 2009.
