Joyce Wang

Joyce Wang has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Joyce started their career as an intern at the International Center for the Study of Terrorism in 2010.

In 2011, they worked as a Co-operative Associate in Business IT at PPL Corporation.

Joyce then joined PricewaterhouseCoopers Limited in 2012 as an intern and later worked as an Assurance Associate at PwC from September 2013 to August 2014.

In 2014, they joined Opower as a Staff Accountant I and later became a Staff Accountant II. Opower is a technology company that transforms the way utilities relate to their customers.

In 2016, they became a Senior Accountant at Opower and worked on their customer engagement platform.

From 2016 to 2018, Joyce worked at Jet.com as an Associate Product Manager/Senior Analyst on the Jet Engine team.

Joyce then transitioned to a Frontend Engineer role at Jet.com from May 2018 to May 2019, where they worked on full-stack Javascript, created a solo SEO app, and wrote GraphQL schema and resolvers for team projects.

From June 2019 to January 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer at Anvyl, a production hub that streamlines supply chain management for brands.

Their most recent role is as a Software Engineer at Good Dog, starting in February 2020.

Joyce Wang completed their undergraduate education at Penn State University from 2009 to 2013. Joyce earned a BA in International Politics and a BS in Accounting during their time at the university. In 2016, Joyce obtained additional certifications, including a certificate in R Programming and a certificate in The Data Scientist’s Toolbox, both from Coursera Course Certificates.
