Cory Lorenz is a founding machine learning engineer at PlanGrid, where they significantly contributed to the development of their PDF and image processing systems. Prior to this, Cory held roles as a staff manufacturing R&D engineer at Tesla, working on vision systems for the Model 3 production line, and as a senior software engineer at Microsoft, focusing on iris recognition biometrics. Currently, Cory serves as the tech lead for machine learning at Good Inside, where they launched the internal chatbot “GiGi.” Cory earned a B.S. and M. Eng in Electrical Engineering from M.I.T. from 1999 to 2004.
