Jiří Mikulášek

Jiří Mikulášek has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Jiří began their career in 2004 as a developer at EPFL's Archivus project. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as a programmer and consultant at OptimSys. Jiří then joined AURA, s.r.o. in 2005 as an analyst/programmer/education leader, where they stayed until 2013. In 2013, Mikulášek joined GoodData as a SW Engineer, focusing on the development and operation of ETL as a service platform. Jiří quickly progressed to Senior Software Engineer and later Principal SW Engineer, where they took on additional responsibilities as an API architect and led the adoption of OpenAPI. Since September 2022, Mikulášek has been working at GoodData as a Senior Principal Software Engineer. Jiří also held a role as the Head of Research and Development at Smarteon Systems s.r.o. starting in 2017.

Jiří Mikulášek earned a Master's Degree in theoretical informatics from Masaryk University Brno between 2002 and 2008. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) from Cambridge English Language Assessment.
