Ondřej MacEk

Ondřej Macek has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions throughout their career. Ondřej started working at Deloitte in 2009 as a Business Analyst, where they participated in multiple projects as a business consultant, designing and improving processes for clients. In 2010, they joined Czech Technical University in Prague as an Assistant Professor, where they stayed until 2016. During this time, they also worked as a Researcher at the National Institute of Informatics from February to May 2013. In 2016, they joined Deutsche Börse as a Functional Analyst, before moving to GoodData in 2018. At GoodData, they held multiple positions, starting as a Senior Technical Product Manager from February 2018 to August 2020. Ondřej then became a Principal Technical Manager from September 2020 to March 2023, followed by a Senior Principal Technical Manager from March 2023 to June 2023. Currently, they serve as the Director of Product Management at GoodData, starting from July 2023.

Ondřej Macek completed their education at the Czech Technical University in Prague. Ondřej obtained a degree in Software engineering (Ing.) and later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Software Engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the same university.
