Tom Kratochvil

Tom Kratochvil has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Tom started their career as a Data Migration Associate at Ceska pojistovna in 2007. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a CSR in Health Care at Infosys BPO. In 2009, they joined AVG Technologies as a Business Analyst and later became a Team Leader and Business Solution Analyst for M&A and E-Commerce. Tom then joined Y Soft in 2014 as a Technical Product Manager and later became the Lead Product Manager, leading a team of six product managers. In 2017, they moved on to GoodData where they held several positions including Sr. Technical Product Manager and Sr. Manager / Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager. Currently, they are the Director of Sales Engineering & Enablement at GoodData. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated skills in product management, sales enablement, and technical expertise.

Tom Kratochvil earned a Master's Degree in Company Management and Economics from the Brno University of Technology from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree (cum laude) in System Engineering and Informatics from the same institution between 2006 and 2009. Before their university education, Tom attended Klasicke Gymnazium, where they received a general education with a focus on languages such as German, French, and Latin. Additionally, Tom has acquired various certifications such as PMC-I from Pragmatic Institute and Foundations in Design Thinking from IDEO U. Tom also holds the certification of Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance and has completed training in Digital Analytics Fundamentals from Google, ITIL v3 from TÜV SüD, and the State Exam in German Language from the Ministry of Education in Prague, Czech Republic. Tom has further obtained a certification in Value Requirements from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
