Daniel Balsam

Daniel Balsam is the Co-Founder and CTO at Goodfire, where they focus on developing interpretability tooling for safe and reliable AI models. Previously, Daniel worked as a Software Engineer at TixTrack, Inc, and led engineering teams at Controlco, where they designed mobile-friendly websites for energy management solutions. Daniel also served as the Head of AI at RippleMatch, driving significant cost reductions and conversion improvements through innovative AI integrations. Daniel's early experience includes a role as a Neuroscience Lab Technician at Columbia University, where they contributed to published research in Molecular Psychiatry. They hold a Bachelor's Degree from New York University, completed in 2014.
