Christopher McMahon

Christopher McMahon possesses extensive experience in research and academia, currently serving as the Director of AI & Emerging Technologies Research and Director of Quantum & Emerging Technologies at GoodLabs Studio since December 2020. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Waterloo from July 2019 to June 2022, Researcher at Canadian Light Source Inc. from September 2010 to August 2017, Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo, and PhD Researcher at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. Christopher McMahon earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from the University of Waterloo, as well as a Master of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Photonics from the same institution and Wilfrid Laurier University, respectively.
