Chief Business Development Officer at GoodLeap

As Chief Business Development Officer, Paul oversees all aspects of GoodLeap client onboarding, program development and implementation, as well as ongoing sales interactions with our solar contractor partners. Paul’s primary focus is on expanding market share for GoodLeap and its partners as one cohesive team.

Prior to joining GoodLeap, Paul was Senior Vice President of Residential Sales at SolarCity, the nation’s largest residential solar installer. Paul was responsible for leading the residential sales and support teams – made up of 6,500 people across Inside Sales, Field Sales, Direct Sales, as well as all field customer acquisition channels. Paul and his team at SolarCity are credited for generating new solar purchases that exceeded 200,000 per year.

Before joining SolarCity, Paul co-founded and served as the Vice President of Sales for Paramount Solar, the largest Solar Inside Sales company in the nation. From the launch of Paramount Solar in 2009, Paul helped lead the company through exponential growth, which resulted in its sale to SolarCity in 2013.

Paul’s pre-solar industry career spans over a decade in finance and mortgage banking where he worked with some of the largest lenders in the nation, including Citigroup, Countrywide, and Bank of America.

Paul is a proud alumnus of California State University, Sacramento, where he graduated with honors.
