Jesse Verbist has extensive experience in legal and compliance roles, currently serving as Company Secretary for continental Europe and Compliance CE at Goodman since July 2007. Responsibilities include advising on corporate governance, managing corporate restructuring, and overseeing corporate housekeeping for CE legal entities, along with group compliance matters. Previously, Jesse held the position of Legal Manager (Europe) focused on property legal aspects of development projects. Prior work experience includes serving as an Associate at NautaDutilh, handling corporate M&A, corporate litigation, and securitisation, as well as a Foreign Associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell, working on 144A and Reg. S offerings, corporate M&A, and IPOs. Jesse holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from KU Leuven, a CBA from Kellogg School of Management, and another Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Northwestern University, along with a Latin-Greek degree from Onze Lieve Vrouw college Halle.
