Carles Roig

Carles Roig is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the development of iOS applications and audio technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at GoodNotes since April 2022, Roig previously held multiple roles at BetVictor from January 2015 to June 2022, including Head of Native Development and iOS Team Lead. Prior to that, an iOS Developer role at Universidad de Málaga involved designing applications for music interaction and processing technologies. Roig's early career included an iOS Developer internship at Yamaha and a Research Engineer position at Universitat Politècnica de València, focusing on algorithms for noise control. Academically, Roig earned a PhD in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad de Valladolid, an MSc in Sound and Music Computing from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and a BSc in Telecommunications Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de València, along with a Piano Degree from the Professional Music Conservatory Perfecto Garcia Chornet.
