Akl Fahed

Chief Medical & Scientific Advisor at Goodpath

Dr. Fahed is a physician-scientist, healthcare innovation leader, and Goodpath co-founder. He is an interventional cardiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital and faculty member at Harvard Medical School. He is triple-board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, and interventional cardiology. He obtained his MD degree from the American University of Beirut where he was inducted to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, and his MPH from the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health. He completed his residency in internal medicine, fellowship in cardiology, and fellowship in interventional cardiology all at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He also completed five years of postdoctoral research fellowships in genomics and data science at Harvard Medical School and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where he continues to be an NIH-funded investigator. Dr. Fahed works nationally to advance innovation in medicine and has served in people roles at the American College of Cardiology. He co-founded Goodpath because he believes they can improve quality of life for millions of people suffering from commmon but disabling conditions in a value-based care model.
