James Lyda

James Lyda, Ph.D., serves as the Director of Mental Health at Goodpath since July 2025, following a role as Virtual Medical Director and Virtual Therapist at One Medical from August 2021 to July 2025. In addition to private practice as a psychotherapist since February 2021, James has held various leadership positions in mental health services at institutions such as Two Chairs and Minerva University. Academic foundations include a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Oregon and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at UC Berkeley. James specializes in providing psychotherapy to a diverse clientele, including undergraduate and graduate students, professionals, and BIPOC individuals, with a focus on mental health outreach and education.
