Tomas Vrabcek

Tomas Vrabcek has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Tomas started their career as a Junior Product Manager at First Mobile Affiliate s.r.o. in 2013. From there, they worked as a Scrum Master at KROS a.s. from June 2014 to April 2015, where they facilitated a 16-member team, planned sprints, removed obstacles, and fostered team collaboration.

In 2015, Tomas joined GlobalLogic Slovakia as a Project Manager, where they managed projects using agile methodology. Tomas focused not only on project management but also on team health and career development. Tomas was also responsible for being the product owner of an asset management web application.

Since 2020, Tomas has been at GoodRequest, where they have held several roles. Tomas started as an Agile Project Manager, leading projects and implementing agile frameworks such as Scrum and ScrumBan. Tomas later took on the role of Head of Project Managers & Projects, where they continued leading projects and spreading agile ideology across the company. Currently, they serve as the Head of Projects, responsible for managing and overseeing projects at GoodRequest.

Throughout their career, Tomas has demonstrated a passion for agile methodologies, collaborating with teams, and driving project success.

Tomas Vrabcek earned their Bachelor's degree (Bc.) in Management from the University of Zilina, Faculty of management science and informatics, between 2006 and 2009. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree (Ing.) in Information of management from the same institution from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate in Project Management from PeopleCert in July 2021 and became a SAFe® 4 Certified Scrum Master through Scaled Agile, Inc. in June 2017.
