Allison Barnes, PharmD has worked in various roles and organizations throughout their career. Allison began their work experience in 2017 as a Medical Content Reviewer at iodine, where they created clinical content for a consumer-oriented drug information website. Allison then moved on to become a PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident at Swedish, where they gained hands-on experience in the field. In 2018, they joined the University of California, San Francisco as a PGY-2 Solid Organ Transplant Pharmacy Resident, specializing in liver transplant and heart/lung transplant rotations. In 2019, Barnes joined GoodRx as a Medical Content Reviewer, responsible for creating and reviewing clinical content. Lastly, they currently hold the position of Kidney/Pancreas Transplant Clinical Pharmacist at Sutter Health.

Allison Barnes, PharmD, completed their education starting with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2013 from the University of Miami. During their undergraduate studies, they also participated in a Language Immersion Program at the Universidad de Cantabria in 2011, focusing on Advanced Spanish Studies. Following their undergraduate degree, they pursued a Doctor of Pharmacy - PharmD from the University of California, San Francisco, which they completed in 2017.
