Aneel Bal

Aneel Bal, CPA has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Lifeguard/Swim Instructor at the YMCA of Greater Vancouver. In 2014, they joined the UBC Finance Association, where they held several positions, including President and Vice President of Events. During this time, they demonstrated strong leadership skills and organizational capabilities. In 2015, Aneel became a Residence Advisor at The University of British Columbia, where they enhanced the residence experience for students through event planning and mentorship. Aneel then worked as a Staff Accountant at KPMG Canada in 2017 and joined KPMG Canada again in 2019 as a Senior Accountant. Aneel contributed to financial reporting and analysis while at KPMG. Most recently, Aneel joined GoodRx in 2022 as a Senior Analyst in Financial Planning and Analysis, where they currently work. Aneel's experience showcases their expertise in accounting, finance, leadership, and event planning.

Aneel Bal, CPA completed their education in a chronological manner. Aneel began their educational journey in 2014, attending The University of British Columbia. Here, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree with a specialization in Accounting. This period of study lasted from 2014 to 2019. Afterward, in 2019, Aneel embarked on furthering their education at the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada), where they obtained the Chartered Professional Accountant Designation. This educational pursuit lasted from 2019 to 2022.
