Derek Cline

Derek Cline's work experience includes being a Software Engineering Manager at GoodRx starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Amazon as a Software Development Manager from 2021 to 2023, where they managed a project and software delivery for a risk-related data ingestion pipeline. Before Amazon, Derek was at Ticketmaster, where they served as a Senior Manager and Manager of Software Engineering, responsible for delivering Core Ticketing Modernization efforts. Derek also worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Ticketmaster. Derek's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at Shopzilla.com, a Full Stack Developer at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, a Build Engineer at Metapa (now Greenplum), a Web Engineer at Cnation, and a Web Developer at Maricopa County Community College District.

Derek Cline completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurship from Arizona State University from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they attended Scottsdale Community College from 1994 to 1996, studying General subjects. In addition to their formal education, Derek has obtained several certifications, including SAFe 4 Practitioner Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2019, Competent Leader Bronze from Toastmasters International in January 2018, Competent Communicator from Toastmasters International in June 2017, Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in July 2015, and Cloudera Certified Developer for Apache Hadoop in July 2011.
