Lauren Smith

Lauren Smith is an accomplished editorial professional with extensive experience in writing and education. Currently serving as a Senior Editor at GoodRx since January 2022, Lauren previously held similar roles at HealthiNation from GoodRx, where responsibilities included writing and editing from February 2017 to January 2022. Lauren's career also features freelance writing and blogging, including authorship of The Oatmeal Artist, along with various teaching positions, such as Founding 6th Grade Writing Teacher at Great Oaks Charter School NYC. Lauren holds a Master’s Degree in Individualized Degree - Bilingual Education and Writing Curriculum from New York University and a Bachelor's Degree in English with a 7-12 Language Arts Certification from South Dakota State University.
