Samit Sharma

Samit Sharma has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Samit is currently working as a Software Engineer III at GoodRx since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Verb Technology Company, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2020 to November 2021.

In 2018, Samit worked at California State University, Fullerton, where they held two roles. Samit started as a System Programmer (Student Assistant) from March 2019 to May 2020. In September 2018 to September 2019, they served as a Research Assistant, focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. During this time, they worked on improving the Spam Detection System and built a thin-XG boost model wrapper class.

Before joining the university, Samit worked as a Software Developer at Accion Labs from July 2016 to July 2018. Here, they developed a REST-based workflow system and a rule-based engine using node.js and MongoDB. Samit also created Angular-based drag and drop UI for workflows and implemented Redis for caching.

From August 2014 to July 2016, Samit worked as a Sr. Software Developer at Terbium Solutions. Samit developed core logic for the placement and course selection system and implemented report systems using D3.js. Samit also designed an admin panel, developed job application portals, and created mobile applications using the Ionic framework and Node.js.
