Skyllar D. has a diverse work experience in the fields of product design, UX/UI design, and government. They have worked as a Product Designer at GoodRx and Advance Local in 2023. In 2021, they worked as a Product Designer at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK, where they were involved in designing digital products. Prior to that, they worked as a UX/UI Designer at balsa, where they conducted extensive research and created wireframes for website design. They also worked as a UX/UI Design Fellow at General Assembly, where they designed user-friendly products for web and iOS. Additionally, Skyllar worked as a UX Designer at Rights CoLab, organizing a website redesign sprint and conducting research to determine user needs. They also gained experience in policy analysis and budget preparation at the Texas Senate. They started their career as a Student Assistant at Texas A&M University and later interned at Leinster House, where they contributed to political canvassing, created campaign materials, and prepared executive briefings.

Skyllar D. completed a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in University Studies - Society, Ethics, and Law from Texas A&M University, beginning in 2018 and graduating in 2020. In 2021, Skyllar attended General Assembly to further their education in User Experience but did not obtain a degree. They did, however, obtain a certification in User Experience Design from General Assembly in October 2021.
