Stephen Gilroy

Stephen Gilroy's work experience begins with their role as a Customer Service Agent at WestJet from July 2007 to August 2008. Stephen then worked as an Office Assistant at Western Archrib Structural Wood Systems from May 2010 to August 2010. In June 2011, they joined Apple Retail as a Sales Specialist, where they used their interpersonal skills to assist customers and train new users. From May to August 2012, they worked as an Engineering Summer Student at ATCO Electric, where they developed a hierarchy system for new equipment. In July 2013, they started their role as an Engineer in Training at EPCOR, which lasted until July 2014. From July 2014 to June 2016, they worked at Brookfield Multiplex as an MEP Coordinator, managing communications and ensuring high standards on site. At TouchBistro, from June 2016 to October 2017, they were an iOS Developer, contributing to the development of the flagship POS system. Stephen then joined Wag Labs Inc. as a Lead iOS Engineer from December 2017 to January 2020. Currently, they are employed as a Senior iOS Engineer at GoodRx, starting in February 2020.

Stephen Gilroy obtained a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering with a Nanotechnology option from the University of Alberta. Stephen studied at the university from 2008 to 2013. In addition to their degree, they also obtained a certification in Connect for Emerging Leaders - Leadership Training from Eager Labs in July 2021.
