Nick Black is the founder and CEO of GoodUnited. Nick previously served as the CEO of Stop Soldier Suicide, a non-profit organization that provides support to veterans and their families. Prior to that, they served in the US Army for seven years, rising to the rank of Captain. Nick was deployed to combat zones in Afghanistan for 27 months and was awarded two Bronze Stars and the Army Commendation Medal (Valor).

Nick Black has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a BA in Political Science from The Johns Hopkins University.
