Michael Murphy

Michael Murphy is an Assistant Professor and Program Director of Respiratory Care at Goodwin University, where they manage and develop the Respiratory Care Program. They have extensive experience in respiratory therapy, having served as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Nuvance Health since 2022, and previously as a Clinical Supervisor and Respiratory Therapist at Western Connecticut Health Network from 2004 to 2013. Michael also worked as a Paramedic across various organizations, including Danbury Ambulance Service, Inc. and New Britain Emergency Medical Services, from 1992 to 2005. They hold a Master of Science in Respiratory Care from Canisius College and a Bachelor of Arts from Western Connecticut State University.
