Angela Bates

Angela Bates, MBA, MSA, currently serves as a Senior Accountant at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company since June 2023 and has held the position of Senior AR Accountant at TimkenSteel Corporation since August 2015. Angela has extensive experience in preparing month-end close journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses for various accrued expenses, as well as performing essential accounting functions such as recording and analyzing general ledger account transactions. Previously, Angela worked as Assistant Controller and Staff Accountant at Kimble Companies, where responsibilities included managing financial statements, budgeting, and overseeing year-end audits. Angela’s career also includes roles as Accounting and Payroll Manager at Pioneer Physicians Network and Accounting Associate at Atlas Energy, Inc., demonstrating proficiency in general ledger management, payroll processing, and financial reporting. Angela holds a Master's degree in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University and an MBA in Accounting from Walsh University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
