Laura Duda is Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. As the chief communications officer, Duda leads all internal and external communications for the company, including public and media relations, employee communications, corporate reputation management, philanthropy and community relations, as well as Goodyear’s fleet of world-famous airships.
Duda joined Goodyear in 2016, serving as Vice President of Communications for the company’s Americas business unit. Before joining Goodyear, Duda led corporate, utility and commercial communications for Exelon Corporation and corporate and utility communications for TECO Energy, Inc.
She serves on the boards of directors of the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce and Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition and is a member of Leadership Akron’s 35th class. She is a graduate of Leadership Greater Chicago, Leadership Tampa and Leadership Tampa Bay.
A native of St. Petersburg, Florida, Duda received her bachelor’s degree in English from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina; her master’s degree in Mass Communication/Public Relations from University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida and her MBA from The University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida.
Duda and her husband, Michael, reside in Richfield, Ohio.
