Peter Dent

Peter Dent is currently an Engineer Staff in New Material Design at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, where they focus on polymer engineering and process design. Previously, Peter worked as a Tread Compound Engineer at Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, contributing to fundamental research on chemical interactions in tread compounds. Peter began their career with a Research and Development Co-Op at Cooper, completing rotations that enhanced their understanding of material applications in the tire industry. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University, where they also served as an undergraduate teaching assistant and completed a research thesis on bioplastic compounds. Peter is eager to pursue a master's degree in polymer science and technology in the near future.
