Rusty Adams is an experienced professional in the field of engineering, currently serving as the New Ventures Manager and previously as an R&D Associate/Mechanical Engineer at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company since October 1996. Rusty's expertise includes tire performance prediction and fundamental research, alongside a role as an R&D Associate/Technology Scout within the same company. Prior to joining Goodyear, Rusty worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Frostburg State University from 1996 to 1998, teaching math and engineering courses, and as a Civil Structural Engineer at Linkwood Truss Systems from 1983 to 1987, focusing on truss design. Rusty holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, completed between 1986 and 1995.
