Sean Dillon is a Development Engineer at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, specializing in compound development for medium truck tires since July 2013. Previously, Sean completed a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at The University of Akron, where academic studies spanned from August 2008 to May 2013. Sean's early career included valuable co-op experiences at Bridgestone and the Bridgestone Americas Center for Research and Technology, where responsibilities involved conducting polymerizations, operating reactors, and analyzing polymer microstructures. Additional research work at RES Polyflow focused on optimizing distillation systems for crude oil derived from polymer waste. Prior to these roles, Sean gained experience in the food service industry, promoting from line cook to certified trainer at The Outback Steakhouse.
